   - ODE utility control statements (Specified in //FPXCTL DD)

  1. When invoking ODE, The area names and processing options had
  to be specified with separate DDs, //SYSIN DD and //FPXCTL DD.
  
  2. ODE did not have an option for processing all areas. ODE had
  to be specified all area names to be extracted.
  
  The APAR removes the above restrictions.

• Online Data Extract has been enhanced to support the following
  functions:
  
  1. Specify area names and extract processing options in one
  input //FPXIN DD, instead of specifying with separate DDs,
  //SYSIN DD and //FPXCTL DD.
  
  This function is effective when EXTRACT control statement is
  specified at the first line of //FPXIN DD. Area names are
  specified by AREA= keyword for EXTRACT control statement.
  Processing options are specified by FPXCTL, SELECT and OUTPUT
  control statement, which is the same as //FPXCTL DD.
  In the following example, all segments in area DB23AR0 and
  DB23AR1 are extracted and the DBT Unload/Reload output format
  is used.
  
  //FPXIN DD *
     EXTRACT AREA=(DB23AR0,DB23AR1)
     FPXCTL  OUTPUT=DBT
     SELECT  SEG=ALL
  //
  
  - When //FPXIN DD is specified, //SYSIN DD cannot be specified.
  - This function supports only run-level control.
  - If ODE is performed by FPXIN DD with OUTPUT=STD, only a DBD
    Control Information Record is created for each output file.
  
  2. Add options for processing all areas without specifying area
  names.
  
  This function is effective when AREA=ALL is specified for the
  EXTRACT control statement.
  In the following example, all areas defined in DEDB are
  extracted and standard extract format with sort option is used.

  This function needs the following IMS APARs.
  IMS Version 8 (5655-C56): PK25289
  IMS Version 9 (5655-J38): PK25294
  
  
  "IMS High Performance Fast Path Utilities for z/OS User's Guide
  Volume 3: Fast Path Online Tools Version 2 Release 2
  (SC18-9239-02)" is changed to support to specify areas and
  processing options in //FPXIN DD, and to specify all areas
  without area names (AREA=ALL).
