processing large object sets in DB2 R710 and R810 when the
cardinality for index DSNDTX03 ( columns TBCREATOR and TBNAME )
on table SYSIBM.SYSTABLES is low.

*                 who run ADB2GEN on DB2 systems which         *
*                 have no aliases defined, are affected.       *
****************************************************************
* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The  DB2 Object Comparision Tool has    *
*                      performance  issues  when processing    *
*                      large object sets in  DB2  R710  and    *
*                      R810  if  the  cardinality for index    *
*                      DSNDTX03  (  columns  TBCREATOR  and    *
*                      TBNAME )  on  table SYSIBM.SYSTABLES    *
*                      is low. Poor performance can result.    *

* RECOMMENDATION:                                              *

A  new  recommended  index  for  both DB2 V7 and DB2 V8 has been
added to the ADBCX sample.  This index will work well even if no
aliases and/or synonyms are defined. Also, tests have been added
to ADB2GEN to test for the existence of aliases and synonyms. If
there are none, some queries in ADB2GEN are bypassed.
