PK26036: OBJECT COMPARE NOT HANDLING CHECK UNIQUE CONSTRAINT CORRECTLY CAUSING DROP OR DELETE AND RECREATE UNIQUE KEY

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Compare does not handle changes to the column list of a named
  UNIQUE constraint. Expected results would be a "smart alter"
  to remove a constraint ( constraints ) on the table whenever
  possible . This would avoid the drop / recreate  which is now
  occuring.
