Error description

• Update HP Sysgen to use CS logic on all the flag bytes addressed
  by the SMBFLAGA and SMBFLAGB fullwords.

  There are several problems being corrected with this APAR.
  1. Maintain compatibility with IMS for changes to SMB bit
  settings updated by APAR PK22622 by using compare and swap
  for SMBFLAGA and SMBFLAGB bit settings.
  2. ABEND001 if IMS Sysgen or Security Sysgen source data
  sets specified in IMSID setup are mixed sequential and pds
  data sets.
  3. ABEND0C1 if online change in progress when an install of
  an update list is attempted.
  4. IOHCLIST utility fails to produce an error message for
  some errors that result in rc08.
  5. IOHCLIST utility with CTLBLKS=DASD fails when IMS is down.
  6. ABEND013 during a VALIDATE (IOH ISPF Option 5) or a FASTGEN
  (IOH ISPF Option 6) if the print output data set block size is
  not a multiple of 133.
  

Problem conclusion

• Corrections for the above problems are:
  1. Use CS Logic to update bit settings for fields in
  SMBFLAGA and SMBFLAGB.
  2. Verify compatible DSORG when concatenating data sets.
  3. Correct error processing for batch APPC invocation.
  4. Correct error processing during cleanup for an update list
  install error.
  5. Correct processing for obtaining modblks definitions when
  IMS is not up.
