APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Altering a Partitioning Index to "NOT CLUSTER" causes the TABLE
  in the Partitioned Table Space convert to Table Partitioning.
  The only hint that this is being done is the appearance of a
  SQLCODE +20272 ( SQLCODE20272 ) as a warning. No further info
  from the PF1 key or help text. Also no warning PRIOR to making
  such a dramatic structure change. A "pre warning flower box"
  should be added, along with more elaborate error messages.
  

Local fix

• If accidental, use Admin Tool to convert back to index based
  partitioning.
