PK24420: ADMIN TOOL CREATE INDEX LINE COMMAND DOES NOT SUPPORT THE CREATION OF A PARTITIONED INDEX

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The customer was testing the new function introduced with APAR
  PQ80368. They were attempting to add a PARTITIONED Index to a
  PARTITIONED TABLESPACE currently using a PARTITIONING index.
  This changed the overall structures into PARTITIONED BY TABLE
  and the INDEX is Converted to a PARTITIONED INDEX. The Admin
  Tool CRE (CREATE INDEX) line command does not fully support the
  creation of a new PARTITIONED index, and give SQLCODE104.
  

Local fix

• Use SPUFI oe equivalent to create the new index.
