Error description

  • The DB2 Administration Tool error handling in clist ADB2C fails
with a message IKJ56545I:
SET MSGLINE=&STR(&EVAL(FILE DSNTRACE NOT ALLOCATED+))
THIS STATEMENT HAS AN EXPRESSION WITH A CHARACTER DATA ITEM USED
NUMERICALLY
when an invalid unit is specified during customization.

Local fix

  • Correct the invalid unit specified on panel ADB2CUS1
"Customization - General Parameters".

When  an  invalid  unit is specified for DB2AVIO during
customization. The error handling in clist ADB2C failed
with a message like IKJ56545I.
