PK22632: DB2 MAY APPEAR TO HANG DUE TO ABEND S0C4 WHILE ISSUING TIMEUSED FROM CQMMESQL 06/04/04 PTF PEREMOVE

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• ABENDS0C4 can ocur while issuing TIMEUSED from CQMMESQL.  This
  problem can cause the DB2 subsystem to hang.
  
  Additional symptoms:
  ABEND0C4 in IEAVTSFR, R14 points within IEAVRT05,
  running disabled ( CPU lock held ).  Many S0C4
  and ABEND073 RC08 follow as CPU lock is not released.
  ABEND0C4 0C4 S0C4
  
  LOGREC may show ABEND0C4 in IEAVEECT at offset +x'A8'
