Error description

• The DB2 Administration Tool CREV create view line command
  issued from panel ADB21T'Tables, Views, and Aliases' fails
  in panel ADB223 'Build SQL Prototype: Search Objects' if in
  panel ADB26CV 'Create View'the '? to use SELECT prototype'
  is used AND the Owner field has an 8 character value specified.

  * USERS AFFECTED: Users of DB2 Administration Tool, who use    *
  *                 the  CREV line command on panel ADB21T to    *
  *                 create  views  on tables with 8-character    *
  *                 owners, may be affected. (DB2 V7 only)       *
  ****************************************************************
  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: ISPF  error  ISPP178 is received during *
  *                      Create View process:                    *
  *                      "Conversion or truncation problem found *
  *                      while  attempting   to  store  variable *
  *                      'CREATOR'".  Error occurs after issuing *
  *                      ENTER from panel ADB223.                *

  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
  ****************************************************************
  During  Create  View  process initiated from panel ADB21T, the
  error results when the  CREV command is issued against a table
  with creator of maximum number of characters. This only occurs
  when running Admin  on  DB2 Version 7, where maximum length of
  creator is 8 characters.
