    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    HPIC V4R1 Recovery function for DEDB terminates with ABEND S0C4
    ( ABEND0C4 ) in the module FABJRDBn, when IC dataset created
    with FASTIC=(,COPY) option.

    HPIC has a equivalent problem of PK17059 as following
    - FABJRDB9 is missing the code to return to amode 31 at label
      URDB233, where it reaches end of data when reading change
      accum data set.
      FABJRDB9 processes 31-bit address but it is running in amode
      24. As a result, the remaining execution runs in 24 bit mode
      and cause the ABEND S0C4.

Problem conclusion

  • FABJRDB7, FABJRDB8, FABJRDB9 has been modified to obtain and
    pass a correct ADS name to FABJRFCN.

    FABJRFCN has been modified to report FABJ3905E message and
    FABJ3923E message correctly.

    FABJRFC7, FABJRFC8, and FABJRFC have been reassembled.
