Error description

  • MSGINZU200E is issued when HPU detects that LOAD statements
to be generated will not be compatible with DB2 LOAD statement
formats with a bad DATE field. MSGS inzu201e inzu202e and
inzu203e are issued for the same cause for time, timestamp and
for a column without a length header. These errors cause the
UNLOAD to fail. This apar will provide a new INZTVAR variable
which will allow the customer to opt for the UNLOAD to go ahead
and complete, though no LOAD statements will be generated. A
warning with RC=4 will be issued. The default will remain that
    the unload fails. PB 7826
    ADDITIONAL SYMPTOMS:
    1) INZDB21X instructions to update ADB21T should be changed when
APAR PK15597 is applied on DB2 ADMIN TOOL. PB 7932
    2) HPU UNLOAD of column defined as CHAR(1) results in output
with VARCHAR(3). DSNTIAUL or FASTUNLOAD output is CHAR(1).
This happens when CASE + SUBSTR on string constant is used.
       PB 7950
    3) After appling the fix for PK13580 handling of
'*' in the SYSIN of the UNLOAD statement is
different and can result in MSGINZU017E. PK13580
provided a solution for Marketing Requirement
MR0804057429 which is successful. '*' had not
previously been formally supported in the SYSIN
of the UNLOAD. PB 7460 06mr

    - Several routines have been modified to take into account the
user preference regarding stopping process when load sysin
     cannot be properly created.
    1. INZDB2SK skeleton was fitted with additional instructions
    2. inzctrl was modified to evaluate constants as char rather
     instead of varchar.
    3. inzmyacc was modified to allow comments before first keyword.

Problem conclusion

  • APPLY the PTF.
