Problem summary

  * USERS AFFECTED: Users  of  DB2  Administration Tool, who use *
  *                 GEN CREATE TABLE in a partitioned tablespace *
  *                 when the table has been converted from index *
  *                 controlled to talbe-controlled partitioning, *
  *                 are affected.                                *
  ****************************************************************
  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: In DB2 V8 when a partitioned tablespace *
  *                      is  converted  from index-controlled to *
  *                      table-controlled    partitioning,   the *
  *                      limitkey  for  the  last  partition  is *
  *                      converted  to  the  highest  ( lowest ) *
  *                      values. Currently, DB2 places X'FF' for *
  *                      each  key  value  in case the index key *
  *                      is  ascending.  GEN  was  not correctly *
  *                      producing  this  value  in the case the *
  *                      key  column  was  a  TIMESTAMP, DATE or *
  *                      TIME column.                            *
