Error description
The fast recovery image copy is newly supported in HP Image Copy (HPIC) V4. It is created when FASTIC=(....,COPY) is specified to the ICEIN statement. HD Pointer Checker does not recognize the data set as an image copy, and issues an ABENDU3575 with message FABP3575E.

Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: IBM IMS High Performance Pointer Checker for * * z/OS Version 2 Release 1 (FMID=HPC2210) * * users. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: HD Pointer Checker(HDPC) does not * * process a Fast Recovery image copy * * created by High Performance Image Copy * * Version 4 Release 1 (FMID=H1J0410). * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR. * **************************************************************** The Fast Recovery image copy has a different format from the standard image copy. It is the same format as the database data set. However, HD Pointer Checker attempts to open the Fast Recovery image copy data set as a standard image copy format. This APAR changes HD Pointer Checker to process the Fast Recovery image copy data set with the correct format when DATASET=IMAGECOPY is specified in the DATABASE statement in the PROCCTL data set. In addition, this APAR fixes an error that MSGFABP1365I shows an incorrect data set name.
