Error description

  • The DB2 Administration Tool AL / RDEF command when issued
against an object containing a RESTRICT ON DROP table issues
a message 'ADB21SAJ: Unknown ddname requested ADB21CMT' when
the TEMPLATE keyword COPYDDN is toggled to USE and panel
ADB21SAJ 'Alter Tablespace Redefine' has the
'Optional jobs after redefinition:' option 'Run IMAGE COPY'
set to YES.

Local fix

  • Toggle the COPYDDN TEMPLATE keyword from USE.

Problem conclusion

  • The affected  skeleton  members  have  been  modified to only
insert the workddn clause once in the generated utility input
stream. The reported problem has been solved
