    * USERS AFFECTED: Users  of  DB2  Administration  Tool,   who  *
    *                 attempt  to  alter table owner and/or table  *
    *                 name  such  that  their  combined length is  *
    *                 greater than 55 characters, may be affected. *
    ****************************************************************
    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The following problem was reported:     *
    *                      .*                                      *
    *                      "SQLERROR -104 or 1012 "syntax error in *
    *                      collist" on  CREATE TABLE DDL generated *
    *                      by  ALC  alter  of  table name or table *
    *                      owner".                                 *
    *                      .*                                      *
    *                      "The  DDL  generated  as a result of an *
    *                      altered table name/owner is not correct *
    *                      if their combined new length is greater *
    *                      than 55 characters, and  the  generated *
    *                      LOAD control cards are wrong as well".  *
    *                      .* Also, defects discovered in test:    *
    *                      ADBC124E Unexpected EOF Load CNTL C001: *
    *                      The HPU utility did not format the LOAD *
    *                      control  cards  correctly  if the table *
    *                      creator  name  and  table name together *
    *                      have more than 60 characters.  The  CNT *
    *                      file  must be  edited so that the first *
    *                      line of the INTO TABLE  clause does not *
    *                      extend beyond column 72  and subsequent *
    *                      lines extend to column 72.              *

    *                      "DROP instead of DROP-SC for DEC to DEC *
