  • HP Prefix Resolution does not correctly update segments when all
of the following conditions are satisfied:

-OSAM database
-Segments involved in logical relationships are in the blocks
 above 4GB
-HPPRBH=YES is specified

* RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR.         *

When an OSAM database has logical relationships in the blocks
above 4GB and HPPRBH=NO is not applied as a run-time option, HP
Prefix Resolution incorrectly updates the database.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The module FABYUP00 has been modified to properly update the
prefixes of the segments with logical relationships in OSAM
databases even if the segments are in the blocks above 4GB.
