• ABENDU0041 running multiple index builder jobs using the
  parallel partition scan function.

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Customer reported IMS user abend U0041, *
  *                      DBRC sign on failure, when running      *
  *                      simultaneously multiple IB jobs         *
  *                      performing HALDB parallel scan.         *

  In parallel scan mode, IB creates subordinate address spaces for
  the scans using starting task procedures named from IIUSCAHA
  through IIUSCAHX. The procedure names become subsystem IDs to
  DBRC sign on. When multiple IB jobs are run simultaneously, same
  procedure names are used.
  

Problem conclusion

• Enqueue functionality has been introduced for the scan starting
  procedure names. Since non-HALDB parallel scan is also possible
  additional procedures are required to the original IIUSCAN and
  IIUSCAM, namely IIUSCANA through IIUSCANK, and IIUSCAMA through
  IIUSCAMK.
  For IMS V9, subsystem leftovers are removed.
