Error description

• The DB2 Administration tool Catalog Copy/CC feature changed from
  using a two step process ( UNLOAD then a LOAD ) to using a
  single step process ( LOAD INCURSOR ) preventing cross APAR
  processing.

  *                 use Catalog Copy function, may be affected   *

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The  desire  of  being able to ship the *
  *                      Catalog Copy  data sets to other target *
  *                      has been expressed. Potentially, it can *
  *                      involve a  two-step  process of  UNLOAD *
  *                      and LOAD,  rather  than  a  single step *
  *                      process of loading from  a cursor (LOAD *
  *                      INCURSOR).                              *

  *                      Fulfilling the stated need will require *
  *                      an enhancement which will provide a new *
  *                      option. However, a  DB2 APAR PK19144 is *
  *                      needed to prevent a  B37 condition that *
  *                      may happen during  unload  of a catalog *
  *                      object.  As a possibility, for example, *
  *                      without the DB2 PK19144 fix, the Unload *
  *                      Template  Statement  for  SYSPKAGE  may *
  *                      need to be  manually  modified to allow *
  *                      the  CPYRUN00  job to work with the new *
  *                      option.                                 *

  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
  ****************************************************************
  The Catalog Copy function has been enhanced with a new option
  to allow the customer to choose the catalog copy method to be
  used.  A  new  field  has  been added to panel ADB2CCJ called
  'Catalog copy method'.  The default method will be 'L' - LOAD
  from  Cursor.  The  alternate  choice  is  'U' - UNLOAD/LOAD.
  The  panel layout has also been changed to improve usability.
  .* The enhancement provides a new option. However, a DB2 APAR
  PK19144 is needed to prevent a B37 condition. Without it, for
  example, the Unload Template Statement for  SYSPKAGE may need
  to be manually modified to allow  the  CPYRUN00  job  to work
  the new option. (In general, without installing PK19144,  B37
  conditions may happen during unload of catalog objects.)
