    ****************************************************************
This APAR includes following APAR fixes from IMS High
Performance Image Copy for z/OS version 3 release 2:

    PK03433 fixes following problem:
    - The HPIC Image Copy function issues MSGFABJ0999E ( FABJ0999E )
and stops processing when a secondary index database is empty
processed by ICTYPE=A and INDEXBLD=Y of IPR Version 3
      Release 1.
Because the Index Builder does not call the HPIC if the
processed secondary index database is empty. So the HPIC
can not create the output image copy data sets for the empty
      secondary index database.

    PK09763 fixes following problems:
    - When Type-A Image Copy processing is selected by the IPR and
Index Builder cannot build secondary index DB due to an error,
HPIC treats the DB as an empty DB and fails to open the DB
      data set.

    - HPIC Image Copy function terminates with ABEND S0C4
      ( ABEND0C4 ) when neither ICOUT= nor STACK= is specified in
some of IC/AIC/CIC/ACIC statements. Because HPIC does not
check the specification of ICOUT= or STACK= keyword in every
      IC/AIC/CIC/ACIC statements.

    PK11854 fixes following problem:
    - The HPIC Image Copy function terminates with ABEND S238
( ABEND238 ) in the ENQ process of secondary image copy
data set for the secondary index DB, when type-A image copy
process with VIC=Y or HDPC=O under IMS Parallel Reorganization
for z/OS Version 3 Release 1 with INDEXBLD=YES is requested.
Because HPIC requests ENQ by an incorrect length of the
      resource name.

    |Pointer Checker for z/OS Version 2 Release 1 ( FMID=HPC2210 ).|

Problem conclusion

  • A new module FABJDEMP is provided that creates the image copy
data sets of the empty secondary index database.

FABJTERM has been modified as follows:
    - To load the new module FABJDEMP when the HPIC finds the empty
secondary index database with ICTYPE=A and INDEXBLD=Y under
      IPR V3R1.
    - To bypass the process of the empty secondary indices and issue
FABJ0185E message, when IB process fails.

FABJBLKD has been modified to add following new fields for
    generating the messages by FABJTERM.
     - DBVRFYRC, DBVRFYFB, DBERTYP5
If the HPIC fails to open the empty secondary index database,
the DFS2802A, DFS3729I, and DFS301A messages are generated
       using them.

FABJMAS1 has been modified not to turn on the flags that
indicate error status for an empty secondary index database.

FABJDOPN has been modified to move the process of generating
    error messages to FABJTERM.

FABJIPRC has been modified as follows:
    - To receive the status of IB process from the IPR Driver.
    - To bypass the logic that issues ENQ/DEQ macro for output image
copy data set of the secondary index DB, when VIC=Y or HDPC=O
      is specified.

FABJPARM has been modified as follows:
    - To check all the IC/AIC/CIC/ACIC statements that either ICOUT=
      or STACK= is specified.
    - To check whether the selection of ICOUT= or STACK= keyword in
GROUP statement is same as the previous statement.

FABJINT2 has been modified to bypass the logic that issues
ENQ/DEQ macro for output image copy data set of the secondary
index DB, when VIC=Y or HDPC=O is specified.

The following modules have been reassembled.
FABJACQG, FABJCMDB, FABJCRC0, FABJCRC1, FABJCTCV, FABJCZCV,
      FABJDALC, FABJDALO, FABJDBCM, FABJDBC1, FABJDBD7, FABJDBD8,
