  ABEND S0C4 during copy phase when rebuilding the primary index
  Segment type has variable length.  The block analyzer detected
  a segment with a segment length smaller than the minimum length.
  The padding bytes were not zero.
  

Problem conclusion

• Code has been changed to ignore the padding bytes.
