PK13964: SQLCODE620 FROM PANEL ADB21SAR FORCING LOCKSIZE ON CREATE TABLESPACE IN TEMP DATABASE

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• In DB2 Administration Tool a CRE line command in panel
  adb21s is used to create a new tablespace. LOCKSIZE is a
  required input field in panel adb21sar as omission of
  LOCKSIZE input results in msg ' Invalid value '.
  .
  If the new tablespace is in the TEMP database, LOCKSIZE
  is not allowed and sqlcode620 results from generated CREATE .
  Error message appears similar to:

  DSNT408I SQLCODE = -620, ERROR:  KEYWORD LOCKSIZE IN
     CREATE STATEMENT IS NOT PERMITTED FOR A TABLE SPACE
     IN THE TEMP DATABASE

Problem conclusion

• When creating Temporary Tablespaces, extra DDL syntax was
  added that was not supported for this kind of Create.
