  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: This APAR fixes following problems when *
  *                      increasing segment size:                *
  *                      1. Segment in database contains garbage *
  *                         data in the expanded areas.          *
  *                      2. DFSURWF1 record contains garbage     *
  *                         data when the search field is        *
  *                         defined in the expanded areas.       *
  ****************************************************************
  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR.         *
  ****************************************************************
  This APAR fixes following two problems when increasing segment
  size:
  1. Segment in database contains garbage data in the expanded
     areas.
  2. DFSURWF1 record contains garbage data when the search field
     is defined in the expanded areas.
  The cause of these problems is that HP Load does not initialize
  the expanded areas with low values.
  HP Load changes to initialize the expanded areas with low values
  when segment size in the DBD is increased after unload step.
  This function is not applicable when the segments are in the
  compressed format. If you want to increase the size of segment
  which is compressed, the input data for reload must be
  decompressed.
  

Problem conclusion

• The modules HPSRHDLD, HPSRHSLD, HPSRRLDM have been modified to
  initialize the expanded areas with low values when segment size
  in the DBD is increased after unload step.

  issues message DFS388A and ends with return code 16.
