    * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR. *
    ****************************************************************
HSSR Engine erroneously issues message FABH0406E:
FABH0406E INDEX DBD dbdname IS NOT SUPPORTED
and abend U4013 when the name of HIDAM primary index with 1 byte
key is coded specifically on either control statement
    as an index name:
    - DBD control statement for FABHFSU
    - BYINDEX control statement for others.

HSSR Engine does not distinguish such a primary index
from a secondary index with symbolic pointing that is one of
    the unsupported secondary indexes.

An additional problem is fixed by this APAR. If all the
following conditions are met, the HSSR Engine treats the root
key length as 4 bytes erroneously and thus the concatenated
    key is not correct:
    1. APAR PK07882 is applied.
    2. HIDAM primary index is specifed in the Index Name field
of the DBD control statement for FABHFSU.
    3. /SK or /CK is used in the DBDGEN FIELD statement for the root
       segment (ex. FIELD NAME=/SXCUS06).

Problem conclusion

  • The module FABH020n (n=7,8,9) has been modified as distinguish
a HIDAM primary index from the secondary index with symbolic
    pointing correctly.
