Error description
When TOIAUTO=Y is specified, HPIC fails dynalloc for HALDB with ABEND U3916, and fails process for other DB organization with FABJ4602E because HPIC does not handle TOSI token correctly.

Because HPIC releases the DBRC token for DSPAPI function after the requested first DB is processed. Therefore the call of DSPAPI function for the requested other DBs is failed. - HPIC Image Copy function terminates regards as DYNALLOC FAIL for HALDB and terminates with U3916 ( ABENDU3916 ), when requested DB is HALDB and other DBs and the call of DSPAPI function or TOSI Client API for other than HALDB. Because HPIC mistakes DYNALLOC FAIL for HALDB as error of DSPAPI function or TOSI Client API that occurs for other DBs. This APAR also includes forward fit APAR PK13294 from HPIC V3R2. - HPIC Image Copy function issues IEC020I 001-4 ( MSGIEC020I RSN4 ) for ICE#DOUT DD and ABEND S001 ( ABEND001 ), when HPIC creates the Image Copy Process report. Because HPIC opens ICE#DOUT DD, that is output of IMS DBRC Command Utility, with incorrect block size.
Problem conclusion
FABJTOI has been modified to release the DBRC token of DSPAPI function after DSPAPI function call for all requested DBs are done. FABJDMPN has been modified not to set RC from TOSI API into RC area for DYNALLOC process, if TOSI API call for the DBDS is not failed. FABJDMP7, FABJDMP8, and FABJDMP9 have been reassembled. FABJDALC has been modified to use the zero value of the BLKSIZE parameter, when HPIC allocates the output data set which is used by IMS DBRC Command Utility. FABJDBC1 has been modified to omit block size in the DCB parameter for the output data set of IMS DBRC Command Utility. FABJDBRC has been modified to omit block size in the DCB parameter for the output data set of IMS DBRC Command Utility. FABJDBR7, FABJDBR8, and FABJDBR9 have been reassembled. Documentation Changes: The documentation is modified as follows: ============================================================== IMS High Performance Image Copy for z/OS, V4R1, User's Guide (SC18940900) ============================================================== Appendix C. IMS Tools Online System Interface Appendix C.2 Restrictions Change: The IMS Tools Online System Interface library or other APF-authorized PDS must be located before any other library that may contain a customer or vendor version of module DFSPPUE0. The Tools Online System Interface library must be included in the appropriate authorization table, so that the libraries in the JOBLIB or STEPLIB concatenation do not lose their APF authorization. Related Reading: For information about APF authorization, see the OS/390 V2R10.0 MVS Initialization and Tuning Reference or the z/OS V1R2.0 MVS Initialization and Tuning Reference. Each input request or output response must fit within the 61K length data buffer. If input data exceeds the 61K buffer maximum, a parsing error is encountered. If response data exceeds the 61K buffer maximum, the returned data is truncated. IMS Tools Online System Interface supports DL/I databases. | IMS Tools Online System Interface does not support MSDB Fast | Path database types.
