PK11189: ADMIN TOOL DASD SPACE CALCULATIONS USE INCORRECT BLOCKSIZE AND INCONSISTENT PARAMETERS

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The Admin Tool "mixes" allocations of BLOCKS, TRACKS, and
  CYLINDERS within the same job, and also calculates BLOCKSIZE
  and space allocations incorrectly.
  

Local fix

• Correct the JCL manually. Use DB2 VSAM LDS allocation, double
  allocation if compressed.

  which do not specify any space parms - defaulting them to DB2 -
  for  Check utilities are not addressed here (those are problems
  DB2 can address)
