  • The Dialog abends with a S0C4 due to buffer overflow
when a large number of messages are received by the
Dialog processor.
One symptom abend0c4 was seen out of routine IPICFALC.

Problem conclusion


    

  • Detect when the message buffer is full and display
messages immediately to relieve the buffer full
condition and avoid the abend caused by storage
overwrite.
