HPIC Image Copy function terminates with ABEND S0C4 ( ABEND0C4 ) when neither ICOUT= nor STACK= is specified in some of IC/AIC/CIC/ACIC statements. Because HPIC does not checks the specification of ICOUT= or STACK= keyword in every IC/AIC/CIC/ACIC statements.
Problem conclusion
The module FABJIPRC has been modified to receive the status of IB process from the IPR Driver. The module FABJTERM has been modified to bypass the process of the empty secondary indices and issue FABJ0185E message, when IB process fails. The module FABJPARM has been modified following things: - To check all the IC/AIC/CIC/ACIC statements that either ICOUT= or STACK= is specified. - To check whether the selection of ICOUT= or STACK= keyword in GROUP statement is same as the previous statement. ======================== = DOCUMENTATION CHANGE = ======================== IMS High Performance Image Copy for z/OS Version 3 Release 2 User's Guide SC18-7617-01 ( SC18761701 ) should be changed as follows: Appendix A.3 Messages ....+....1....+....2....+....3....+....4....+....5....+....6... | FABJ0185E THE DBDS IS NOT PROCEEDED DUE TO INDEX BUILDER | ERROR | | Explanation: The HPIC process for the secondary index database | is not proceeded due to the error of Index Builder. | | System Action: HPIC continues processing and returns control | to the IPR Driver with return code 8, and the reason code | 00030010. | | Programmer Response: Check the error reason of Index Builder | process.
