Error description

**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All IMS High Performance Image Copy for z/OS * * Version 3 Release 2 users ( FMID=H1J0320 ) * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: HPIC V3R2 terminates with ABEND S0C4 * * ( ABEND0C4 ) in IC, AIC, CIC, ACIC, or * * RCV process when DBRC=Y is specified * * and the maximum logical record length * * of RECON is longer than 32K. * * * * HPIC V3R2 terminates with ABEND U3801 * * ( ABENDU3801 ) in the process for * * recovery of a full function DB or a * * DEDB when DBRC=Y is specified and the * * DB is not registered in the DBRC. * * * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR. * **************************************************************** HPIC V3R2 terminates with ABEND S0C4 ( ABEND0C4 ) in IC, AIC, CIC, ACIC, or RCV process when DBRC=Y is specified and the maximum logical record length of RECON is longer than 32K. Because HPIC getmains the area for copying the record 32K bytes in length. And HPIC refers to or copies some types of records in RECON in vain. HPIC V3R2 terminates with ABEND U3801 ( ABENDU3801 ) in the process for recovery of a full function DB or a DEDB when DBRC=Y is specified and the DB is not registered in the DBRC.
Problem conclusion
The module FABJMAIN has been modified to bypass the process of getting REORG records in DBRC when using recovery function. The macro FABJRCHK has been modified following things. -to access directly records without copying the records with using MVCL instruction when OPTCD=KGE and OPTCD=SEQ is specified in VSAM GET macro for RECONs -to getmain work area with using the size of getting RECON records. The macro FABJDBRC has been modified to avoid ABEND U3801 ( ABENDU3801 ) in the process for recovery of a full function DB or a DEDB when DBRC=Y is specified and the DB is not registered in the DBRC. The module FABJDBR7, FABJDBR8, FABJDBR9, FABJRCH7, RABJRCH8, and FABJRCH9 are re-assembled.
