PK06479: CQM ISPF MEMORY EXHASUSTED WHEN VIEWING A LARGE AMOUNTS OF SQL TEXT IN SUMMARIES

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When viewing significant numbers of unique SQL, the customer may
  run out of region size in their TSO session.  This causes a
  failure in QM ISPF where the user may receive CQM239E message or
  an abend such as a ISPF S0C1. ( ABENDS0C1 )
  
  Possible error outputs include:
  CQM239E - VIRTUAL STORAGE EXHAUSTED WHILE OPENING
  DB2.QM210.INTERVAL. RETURN :
  : CODE 08 ACBERFLG=X'88' RECEIVED FROM OPEN
  
  ISPF S0C1
  
  The CQM239E message may be displayed on the ISPF screen or in
  the SYSLOG, depending on when it occurs.
  
  ANY customer using the CAE who has applied PK06344/UK04836,
  should APPLY both:
  * PK06479/UK07247 and
  * PK08368/UK06403.
  REPORTED SYMPTOMS: include cqmcae agent abends with SOC4 and
                     produces JAVA DUMP.
  
  ADDITIONL SYMPTOMS
  Abend S0C4-000000011 in CQM$TEXT in NEGSQL. When viewing very
  large SQL texts QM can issue a S0C4 ISPF abend.  Code has been
  corrected to fix the abend and display all the text.
