Error description

  • When a Stored Procedure and User Defined Function have the same
name in DB2 7.1 The DDL line command produces a SQLCODE -811
( SQLCODE811 ) Additional Symptoms: can happen with the GEN
command, GEN or DDL command produce No DDL for the Function or
Stored Procedure.

Problem conclusion


    

  • GEN was not qualifying a query to sysibm.sysroutines by
ROUTINETYPE  = 'F' and CAST_FUNCTION = 'N'.

The ADB2REE/ADB2RE/ADB2REZ have been changed to add these
