Error description

• DB2 Administration Tool returns incorrect results from query
  into DB2 Catalog from Panel ADB21 - System Catalog.  This
  occurs when using Admin V5 with DB2 V8.  Initial catalog query
  on Panel ADB21 specified a selection criteria for OWNER that
  was 8 positions.  Initial query was successful.  However,
  subsequent queries fail with message "No Rows Returned" if
  OWNER field on Panel ADB21 is shorter than 8 characters or
  OWNER field is blank even though there are matching objects
  in the DB2 catalog.

Problem conclusion

• If a scrollable field has data beyond the visible portion, but
  only the visible portion is erased, the residual data in the
  non-visible portion can cause unpredictable results.

  Action is taken to clear an input scrollable field on panels
  ADB21, ADB2M1 and ADB223 if the visibile portion of the field
  is blank.
