Error description
HPIC abends S0C1, when HDPC=O or both of HDPC=Y and VIC=Y, are specified in the ICEIN, and HPIC processes either a primary index DB or a secondary index DB that is not formatted because HPIC does not treat the situation as an error and continues processing.

HPIC tries to continue processing even though it fails in the OPEN process for unformatted DB. As a result, HPIC terminates with ABEND S0C1 ( ABEND0C1 ) in the GET process after the OPEN process. HPIC V3.2 image copy function terminates with ABEND U3819 ( ABENDU3819 ) when the DFSMDA member for Full Function DB is not provided in the MDA library. Because HPIC assumes the absence of DFSMDA member for Full Function DB as an inability to allocate the DB.
Problem conclusion
The macro FABJDPSN has been modified to bypass the process of reading a primary index DB or a secondary index DB that is not formatted and to issue the message DFS301A to report an error when HDPC=O or both of HDPC=Y and VIC=Y keywords are specified in the ICEIN. The module FABJMAIN has been modified to bypass the process that checks the existence of DFSMDA member by using BLDL macro for Full Function DB. The module FABJDPS7, FABJDPS8, and FABJDPS9 have been reassembled.
