PK05205: ONLINE SELECT RESULTS IN 'Q TYPE' COLUMN BEING BLANK ON PANEL IQCP34

Error description

• Online SELECT results in Queue type column being empty for panel
  IQCP34.  This occurs in rare circumstances when QCF is building
  prefixes for systems without MSC prefixes in the messages.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• ****************************************************************
  * USERS AFFECTED: Users of QCF, that use IQCSELCT to select    *
  *                 messages from log for recover or reprocess.  *
  *                 QCF does not build the destination type in   *
  *                 QCF prefix if the MSC extension is missing.  *
  *                 Users without MSC are affected.              *
  ****************************************************************
  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: For users without MSC, QCF does         *
  *                      not build the destination type in       *
  *                      prefix while selecting messages         *
  *                      from logs.                              *
  *                      This results in empty destination       *
  *                      type column in panel IQCP34.            *
  *                      The scenario is:                        *
  *                      - execute a SELECT with result in a     *
  *                      file.                                   *
  *                      - run QCF under TSO, option LOAD,       *
  *                      using the file.                         *
  *                      -on the panel IQCP34, the column Q TYP  *
  *                      is empty.                               *
  *                      This APAR fixes also selection process  *
  *                      for IQCSELECT and LOAD functons - for   *
  *                      users running without MSC.              *
  ****************************************************************
  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
  ****************************************************************
  While building QCF prefix in IQCSELCT:
  -If MSC segment does not exist in message's prefix - QCF
  stops building QCF prefix- the destination type and other
  source's data remains empty.
  
  While selecting messages in IQCSELCT and LOAD:
  -If MSC segment does not exist in message's prefix - QCF
  does not accept message to be to a local destination.
  

Problem conclusion

• While building QCF prefix in IQCSELCT:
  -If MSC segment does not exist in message's prefix - QCF
  continues with other prefixes to build source's name and SID.
  -If MSC segment does not exist in message's prefix - QCF
  assumes the destinations are to local LTERM/LTRAN and sets the
  destination type in the QCF prefix to be local.
  
  While selecting messages in IQCSELCT and LOAD:
  -If MSC segment does not exist in message's prefix - QCF
  |...+....1....+....2....+....3....+....4....+....5....+....6...
  assumes the destinations are local LTERM/LTRAN and selects
  the messages to be proccessed, if these types are requested
  in INC/EXC control statements.
  
  Programs are changed to build correct QCF prefixes in case the
  MSC extenssion is missing in message's prefix.
  Programs are changed to select messages as beeing to local
  LTERM/LTRAN destinations if the selection is requested.
