Error description

  • MSGINZI006E NO CONVERSION WAS AVAILABLE BETWEEN CCSID NN AND
MMM WHERE THIS CONVERSION IS SHOWN IN DB2 SYSSTRINGS.
After UK01743 or UK01744 HPU no longer checks SYSSTRINGS.
This apar taken to correct this.

Local fix

  • ADDITIONAL SYMPTOMS:
    1) Wrong output when a column defined with a FIELDPROC + a
parameter list, is selected. The fieldproc is not applied to
decode the data before writing the output record. PB 6696
    2) Incorrect CCSID for date, time or timestamp fields when
unloading data with CCSID translation and select is performed
through DB2 (DB2 FORCE or DB2 YES with unsupported select)
       PB 7084

Problem conclusion

  • - oqueryGetSysstrings() function in inzquery was modified in
order to take available conversions into account
1- Function inzbabDetermineEctAfppv() was changed to process
     correctly the fieldproc parameters.
    2- inzctrl module was fixed.
3- Function inzcontrolOrderBy() was changed to ckeck if an
order by is required on columns with fieldproc.
Module Inzmsgs was changed to add error message INZU186E.
