Error description

  • HPIC does not process a DBD that is not defined in the RECON
when DBRC=Y is specified. But HPIC should process DBD that is
    not defined in RECON.

    HPIC Image Copy Function abends U3957 ( ABENDU3957 ) or U3801
( ABENDU3801 ), when the input database is not registered to the
DBRC. HPIC Image Copy Function checks the DB record in the DBRC
RECON in order to get the information whether the input database
is defined as NON-RECOVERABLE or not.
    - When the database is defined by the DD statement and its DB
record of DBRC is not found, the HPIC terminates with U3957
      ( ABENDU3957 ).
    - When the dynamic allocation from MDA lib for the full function
database and its DBDS record of DBRC is not found, the HPIC
      terminates with U3801 ( ABENDU3801 ).

Problem conclusion

  • FABJBLKD has been modified to add the new symbols in order for
the full function database that is defined in MDA library.

FABJMAIN has been modified following things:
    - To check the MDA member whether the database is defined or not
when the Full Function Database is processed.
    - To check the DB record in the DBRC RECON only when the HPIC
      Concurrent Image Copy Function.

The following modules have been reassembled.
