PK04588: AFTER PK02263 ABEND0C4 WAS CORRECTED, HOWEVER GENERATION CONTINUES TO BE HALTED WHEN LOGIN AND QCFIN DD ARE MISSING

Error description

• After PK02263 the ABEND0C4 was corrected, however generation
  continues to be halted when the LOGIN and QCFIN DD's are
  missing.
  Additional symptom not fully fixed in PK02263 is:
    IQCA031E Dynamic allocation for selected PRISLD failed
  This occurs when no LOGIN DD statement is specified running
  RECOVERDM.

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Chapter "Skeletons to create QCF        *
  *                      procedures using IQCABAT0" points to    *
  *                      samples and description of skeletons.   *
  *                      It says that the QCFIN and LOGIN DD     *
  *                      statement can be ommitted from the      *
  *                      sceletons. IQCABAT0 will replace (if    *
  *                      in skeletal JCL) or will add (if        *
  *                      missing) the DD statements for QCFIN    *
  *                      (with the appropriate controls cards)   *
  *                      and for LOGIN (with the selected log    *
  *                      data sets).                             *
  *                      The generation of the JCL stops if      *
  *                      both- QCFIN and LOGIN DD are missing.   *
  *                      This APAR fixes the problem and the     *
  *                      generation of IQCSELCT and all follow-  *
  *                      ing steps continues after QCFIN and     *
  *                      LOGIN DD statements are generated.      *

  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *

  The programs have been changed to continue JCL generation if
  both LOGIN and QCFIN DD statements are missing in skeletal
  JCL-step IQCSELCT.
