APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Customer is not able to use external dns specified on the
  command line. Using -Dsun.net.spi.nameservice.provider.1
  =dns,sun -Dsun.net.spi.nameservice.nameservers=
  Normally when an IP address/hostname is queries via
  InetAddress api's they are done via system configuered DNS.
  If a customer for some security reason needs to use a
  different dns other then configuered in the system then SUN
  provides a command line option where in you can specify the
  IP address of the DNS.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

Problem conclusion

• Need to add a service provider file in META-INF folder of
  core.jar. The service provider file is already present in the
  codebase and changes are need to intergrate the file in to
  core.jar.

  Install build 20050415 or later
