    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: ABENDS0C4 IN FABHAP0 at offset +000448  *
    * when the PARTITION control statement *
    * specifies the last partition name *
    * and a number of partitions to unload *
    * equal or greater than the total number *
    *                      of HALDB partitions.                    *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR. *
    ****************************************************************
    1. The unload utilities of HP Unload V1, IPR Unload V2, and V3
    receive ABENDS0C4 IN FABHAP0 at offset +000448 when
    the PARTITION control statement specifies the last partition
    name and a number of partitions to unload equal or greater
    than the total number of HALDB partitions.

    2. Under the above condition, the FABHFSU unload utility
    shows the incorrect number as NUMBER OF PARTITIONS in
    the FABHFSU control specifications report.

    The two problems occured because the internal control blocks
    for the HALDB partitions were updated incorrectly
    when an invalid number of partitions was specified.

Problem conclusion

  • The FABHPSL, FABHPSL8, and FABHPSL9 modules have been modified
    as to stop updating the internal control blocks for the HALDB
    partitions after reaching the last partition.
