  • PROBLEMS ADDRESSED:
    -  KILLCONV IS BYPASSED WHEN RETRYATT=0 IS SPECIFIED.
       -  ADDED CODE TO VERIFY THE DATABASE IS IN THE CORRECT
          STATE BEFORE A CCF0488I RC=0 MESSAGE IS RETURNED FOR
          A /STA DB ACCESS=X COMMAND.
    .
    NEW FUNCTIONS ADDED:
     ADDED SUPPORT FOR THE DATAGRP PARAMETER.
     ADDED NEW OPTION IN /CCFMOD TO ATTEMPT TO /DEQ TRANSACTION
      THAT IS IN 'ELIGIBLE FOR SCHEDULING' DURING /CCFMOD PROCESSING
     OTHER THAN /MOD COMMIT PHASE, EACH PHASE OF /CCFMOD PROCESSING
      WILL BE TRIED AS MANY TIMES AS SPECIFIED BY THE RETRYATT/
      RETRYSEC OPTIONS.
     FOR /CCFMOD FAILURES, AN OPTION WAS ADDED TO ALLOW THE JOB TO
      EITHER ABEND OR END WITH A NON-ZERO RETURN CODE.

    This APAR addresses current KILLCONV and /STA access command
    issues as well as adding new functions for the CCF product.
    

Problem conclusion

  • Added code to verify the database is in the correct state
    before a CCF0488I RC=0 message is returned for a STA/ DB
    ACCESS=X command.
    Also added support for the DATAGRP parameter.
    Added new option in /CCFMOD to attempt to /DEQ Transaction
    that is in 'Eligible for Scheduling' during /CCFMOD processing.
    Other than /MOD COMMIT PHASE, each phase of /CCFMOD processing
    will be tried as many times as specified by the
    RETRYATT/RETRYSEC options.
    For /CCFMOD failures, an option was added to allow the job
    to either abend or end with a non-zero return code.
