APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Users will see a blank screen and hour glass after logging in
    when using a browser locale that does not have a corresponding
    translation or a different variant of a language (ex., 'fr-ca'
    instead of 'fr').
    
    Sometimes Case Builder client has trouble matching the browser
    locales to resource bundles and the client throws a java script
    error along with a blank page. The error message is as follows:

Local fix

  • Change the browser locale to a standard locale and the user will
    be able to proceed.

Problem conclusion

  • The fix is included in ICM 5.0.0.1. (fixpack 1). With the fix
    included, users   will be able to login with the fall back
    
    logic.
