Error description
The kc.log file is being written under the user's home directory instead of the WAS_HOME/profiles/profileName/logs directory. Problem summary

Problem conclusion
The issue was resolved by using the USER_INSTALL_ROOT environment variable in the 'log' dir file path definition. Now the kc.log and kc_err.log file will be created under the profile's 'log' directory. The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix pack 9.0.0.9.
