APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When using the WLMHEALTH SIT parameter, WLMHEALTH=OFF is
specified in the SIT and WLMHEALTH=(nn,nn) is specified as a
Startup SIT override. When the CICS region is restarted WARM,
AUTO or EMERGENCY, the WLMHEALTH value specified in the SIT is
    taking precedence.
    .
This is because when DFHPAGP tells MN domain which options have
been specified, it is passing both the SIT value and the Startup
override value. DFHPAGP should negate the WLMHEALTH-OFF value
from the SIT if numeric values are specified in the Overrides.

    ****************************************************************
An Assembled SIT table has WLMHEALTH=OFF specified.
CICS is started with a Startup Override of
    WLMHEALTH=(interval,adjustment).
CICS accepts the interval and adjustment values but does not
    remove the WLMHEALTH=OFF setting.
Subsequent attempts to change WLM Health settings with
EXEC CICS SET WLMHEALTH receive EIBRESP=INVREQ and EIBRESP2=4,
indicating that WLM Health can not be started because
    WLMHEALTH is set to OFF.

Problem conclusion

  • DFHPASY has been changed to negate the WLMHEALTH OFF flag if
an override with (interval, adjustment) has been specified.
