Error description

  • When setting the log trace specification in the admin console,
    you can enter the specification string manually or by
    selecting an option for a specific component in the log trace
    tree. Currently, an option box pops up for each component on
    the log trace tree, but when you click the trace level it
    doesn't actually update the trace specification string.

    You can set the log trace specification in the admin console

Problem conclusion

  • When clicking a component in the log trace tree the
    trace-level option menu pops up and selecting a level updates
    the trace specification string.
    
    The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
    fix pack 8.5.5.14 and 9.0.0.9. Please refer to the Recommended
