PI98735: GEN USING OWNER MASKS CHANGES SCHEMA VALUES IN SET CURRENT PATH STATEMENTS VIEWS TRIGGERS MIGRATE COMPARE ADB3356W

APAR status

Error description

• DDL generated using owner masks may mask the SCHEMA values in
  SET CURRENT PATH statements for views and triggers.  These
  SCHEMA values should remain unchanged.
  In addition, this APAR also adds the functionality described in
  the following new warning message:
  ADB3356W To migrate DB2V8 masking input, OWNER,
  TBOWNER and IXOWNER will mask both owner and schema
  fields. Masking function will duplicate OWNER, TBOWNER
  and IXOWNER masks to respective SCHEMA,TBSCHEMA and IXSCHEMA
  masks in migrating DB2V8 masking input to help
  users not to change their masking datasets.
  In the future, this mapping will be removed and users
  need to consider changing their masking datasets, if
  they have any masks OWNER, TBOWNER and IXOWNER
  defined in mask datasets prior to DB2 V9.

  When DDL is generated with an OWNER mask (for example OWNER:*,
  DU) specified, the default schema values of the SQL path SYSIBM,
  SYSFUN, SYSPROC, SYSIBMADM may be modified, respectively, to
  SYSIBMDU, SYSFUNDU, SYSPROCDU, SYSIBMADMDU. These schema values
  should remain unchanged.
  
  In addition, if users have mask datasets that were defined prior
  to Db2 V9 support, they will now have the ability to migrate
  OWNER, TBOWNER, IXOWNER masks to SCHEMA,TBSCHEMA and IXSCHEMA
  masks, respectively, without having to change the mask datasets.
  
  New warning message ADB3356W informs users of this migration,
  but also urges them to consider changing their mask datasets,
  if they have any OWNER, TBOWNER, or IXOWNER masks defined in
  mask datasets prior to Db2 V9:
  
  ADB3356W To migrate DB2V8 masking input, OWNER, TBOWNER and
