Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All Db2 11 for z/OS and Db2 12 for z/OS * * LOAD utility users * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: ABEND04E RC00E20005 when running LOAD * * utility with CONSTANT keyword * * specified after NULLIF keyword. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: Apply corrective PTF when available. * **************************************************************** ABEND04E RC00E20005 occurred when running a LOAD utility with the CONSTANT keyword specified after the NULLIF keyword for a column in the field-specification. For Example: LOAD DATA INTO TABLE tablename (FIELD1 POSITION(1) CHAR(50) NULLIF(51)='?' CONSTANT(' ')) NULLIF and CONSTANT keywords are mutually exclusive and cannot be specified for the same column in a field-specification. The same problem can occur using DEFAULTIF and CONSTANT for the same column in a field-specification as they are also mutually exclusive and must not be specified together.
Problem conclusion
Utility parser code is changed to issue MSGDSNU070I when a CONSTANT keyword is specified after a NULLIF or DEFAULTIF keyword.
