Error description
With a report that has the property of "run with full interactivity" set to no, clicking "Reset prompts and run", you are prompted again. For a report view, however, clicking this option does nothing - nothing pops up. In previous versions like Cognos 10, clicking the run option would prompt you again. Moreover, in Cognos 11, if legacy view is enabled, running the report view in the old viewer, you will also be reprompted.
Local fix
- Set full interactivity to yes - Navigate to the report view using the legacy viewer
