Error description
Message Logged During Shutdown: 00000137 HAManagedItem E HAMI0015E: Encountered an error activating member <null>. Exception was java.lang.NullPointerException at com.ibm.ws.xd.hamitem.HAManagedItemSupport.processElection(H AManagedItemSupport.java:819) at com.ibm.ws.xd.hamitem.HAManagedItemSupport.access$500(HAMana gedItemSupport.java:98) at com.ibm.ws.xd.hamitem.HAManagedItemSupport$CoreMemberIsActiv atedRetryThread.run(HAManagedItemSupport.java:879) The message is just because there is thread delay between stopped DMGR and threads notified of stopping. Need to block error message if that is the case.

The warning can be ignored and causes no issues.
Problem conclusion
A check for disabled threads was added during shutdown so the error will no longer be thrown unless needed. The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix pack 9.0.0.9.
