PI97987: ABEND S0C7 DURING DECOMPRESSION OF XML DATA WHEN THE TABLESPACE IS IN EXTENDED FORMAT

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• A S0C7 abend can occur in module ALADTL4 due to the calculation
  for the beginning of the compressed data not being performed
  correctly if the TABLESPACE is in the extended format
  introduced in DB2 11. This APAR will correct the calculation
  to account for the larger binary fields being used in the
  extended TABLESPACE and prevent the S0C7.
