PI97775: CREATE REPORT VIEW DOES NOT WORK WHEN THE COGNOS ANALYTICS PORTAL IS EMBEDDED IN AN IFRAME

Error description

• When the Cognos 11 portal is embedded in an iFrame, the "Create
  Report View" button does not work. This appears to be because
  the application is trying to invoke a Javascript function in the
  following way: window.parent.require
  
  When accessing the Cognos application directly, this works
  without issue. This is because window.parent does not actually
  refer to a parent window (as none exists). Instead, it refers to
  the current window; i.e. the Cognos application window; and
  require is available in the Cognos application window.
  
  N.B. window.parent referring to window if no parent exists is
  standard behaviour and is nothing to do with Cognos.
  
  The problem occurs whenever the Cognos application is being
  accessed inside of an iFrame. In this scenario, window.parent
  actually refers to the iFrame window object, which does not have
  require available.
