Error description

The following message may be issued even if userid/password
are
correct:

UsernameAndPasswordLoginModule A
CWWKS1100A: Authentication did not succeed for user ID <>.
An
invalid user ID or password was specified.

If the reason for the error is that SAF registry cannot use
__passwd() due to program control or some other condition,
there
will be a new message issued before CWWKS1100A and it would
imply that future authentication attempts will not succeed.

*                      BPX.DAEMON and the server modules are   *

When BPX.DAEMON level of security is used and server modules are
not under program control, authentication attempts fail with a
misleading message: CWWKS1100A.  This message states that an
invalid user name and password was specified, when in reality
the issue is a configuration issue.

Problem conclusion

Message CWWKS2933E is now issued when using BPX.DAEMON and the
server modules are not under program control.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix
pack 18.0.0.3.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates page for
